Danial Taherzadeh

I’m a doctorate candidate working at Institute of Water Quality Control, Garching, Germany. Previously, I did my masters at University of Dortmund, Chemical Engineering Department, on 3D modeling of highly exothermic reactions in Trickle bed and Monolithic reactors.

Currently, I’m pursuing my PhD under supervision of Prof. Dr. Harald Horn.

My research focuses on biofilms, particularly working on the following topics:

• Mathematical modeling of biofilms
• Fluid-structure Interactions and mechanical response of biofilms
• Evolutionary Biology
• Biomechanics and Biomimicry
