A Biofilm model - free to download

Many of the biofilm models published are closed source. However, there are some that you can freely use in your research. One of the free open source biofilm models is the Framework from Joao B. Xavier. The code is written in Java and is easy to read. It is an individual based model.

You can download it clicking on "framework" and, then going down to the section "The biofilm modelling framework program" and click on download.
