Life in moving fluids: A short review
Tuesday, 06 October 2009 14:18

Due to my research field, I deal with organisms and structures that their natural environment is usually inside water. This book is a golden collection of phenomena occurring where life forms live inside fluids. Many topics are covered, more than you may need, including drag and lift, turbulence, and transient behavior of moving fluids due to presence of structures.

I highly recommend this book to researchers dealing with a mixture of organic life (biology) and fluids, specially to new-starters. It is a pleasure to read, even after several times, and each time I read it again I find a new gem inside.
