The working language of the conference is English. The aim of IWA Biofilm 2011 is to provide a forum for biofilm researchers in academia and industry to exchange ideas, to review recent advances and future needs in biofilm researches, to gather new insights into processes in biofilms and their applications in water and wastewater treatment. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following topics:
